Dzogchen Center

Under the guidance of Lama Surya Das, the Dzogchen Center offers a different kind of chat room - the Chant Room. Take a moment, or a few, to read and join us in chanting these timeless and beautiful prayers.

Lama Surya also recently released an outstanding new CD, Chants to Awaken the Buddhist Heart, together with award-winning recording artist, producer and sound healer Steven Halpern.

Lama Surya says: "These ancient, timeless Tibetan chants help us to awaken
the Buddhist heart -- the radiant Bodhicitta (enlightened mind) innate in
all beings. These are the chants and prayers I use in my personal
meditations. If you chant these today, your spirit will awaken today; if
chanted tonight, your spirit will awaken tonight. Just listening to them can
help open the third ear and delight the third eye with inner vision, cosmic
sound, primordial bliss and divine light."
